Welcome to the Deer
Park Elementary website! This site is designed to provide you
with helpful information that will assist you in becoming more
familiar with our school's philosophy, key components of the
learning experiences we afford our students, and special activities
unique to DPE. As a Texas Education
Agency "Exemplary" school for many years, and now a TEA "Recognized" school,
we are dedicated to providing a quality educational program through
our committed, knowledgeable staff and a rigorous academic program
that stresses high expectations for every child. It's important
to us that our students are prepared to be productive citizens,
so we also teach social skills that will enable them to compete
in the workplace of the future. At DPE we are especially blessed
with supportive parents who are determined to do whatever it
takes to see their children be successful. Our close partnership
with parents most certainly contributes to the school's success.
Education is our primary goal, but we also strive to make our
school a nurturing environment where learning is fun and every
child feels he or she can make a positive contribution. As you can probably
tell, I am very proud to be a part of Deer Park Elementary. Educating
children is a tremendous responsibility, and we are honored to
accept the challenge. |
