How Can I Join Student Council?

among homerooms.

- Report events and upcoming fundraisers to homeroom
classes.
- Help promote fundraisers.
- Be willing to work in our student store before
school, after school, and during lunch..
- Be friendly and have fun!
What's New?
Welcome back
to a new school year! Student Council sponsors, Ms. McConathy,
Ms. Abernathy, and Ms. Armendariz, are excited about
a year of fun and service. Our first fundraiser is already
going strong.
We are
selling chocolate bars for $1.00.
There will be many great prizes for everyonge that sells from one
case to ten. All students that sell four boxes earn a trip to Putt
Putt Fun House! Go Pirates Go! Sell, Sell, Sell!!!! Also, each home
room will be electing class representatives for our upcoming events.
Upcoming Event
Student Council will be involved in mnay
activities and sponsoring lots of fun competitions and dances.
Here is just a few things that we will be doing this year:
- Selling popcorn on Thursdays during 7th period
- Working the student store before school, during both lunches and
after school. We have a lot of fun things in the store as well as
school supplies.
- Meet with fellow Student Council Representatives.
- Represent at school events.
- Sponsor and work 3 dances this year. Welcome Back to School, Halloween,
and Spring Fling. We will be hosting these dances with the cheerleaders.
- Involved in pep rally competitions.
- Spirit Links Sells
- Christmas Door Decorations
- Red Ribbon Week
- Kiss an 8th Grader/Teacher Goodbye
.Hopefully, you will get involved with Student Council this year.
It makes school a lot more fun, and you get to more people. This year
we will have a point system for studnets interesting in making our
school a better place to be everyday. We plan on scheduling pizza parties
and an end of the year event for those that get and keep those points.
