Fairmont Elementary has a great group of students who represent the school by performing service for the community and by providing input for school decisions. Two students selected from each homeroom in grades 3, 4, and 5 make up the membership of the group.

The student council contributes their time by organizing a food drive at Thanksgiving, collecting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald house, collecting quarters at Christmas for toys and selling Valentine Candy-grams.
