The Writing Process

Successful writing has many steps.  Remember that all writers move back and forth in the writing process while completing a piece.

1. Prewriting: This is when you explore possible topics, choose a topic, begin to gather information and organize details before you write your draft.  Before you can write you need to figure out what you are doing, and why.  This step will help you formulate what you want, have, and need to get your writing piece completed.
