Second graders read the book Where Do Balloons Go?, and discussed where they thought the balloons would go. Then they put notes inside their balloons that included their class' name, school address, and a request asking the finder to please send it back saying where it was found. Each class had five ballons to release.

The balloons floated into the sky.

Second grade watched as the balloons floated away, hoping someone would find them and respond to the notes. So far, no notes have been received. :(
