Coach Gay Sabatell

Coach Sabatell is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and  Stephen F. Austin University.  She played volleyball for the Ladyjacks for four years.  Coach Sabatell was the JV coach from 1984 - 1993 and began coaching the Varsity since 1994.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carey Driskell - Junior Varsity

Coach Driskell is coaching in her 8th season with Deer Park Volleyball. She graduated Deer Park High School and went on to play volleyball at McNeese State University. She is currently teaching Physics and Biology on South Campus

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jonette Ozen- Freshmen A
Coach Douglas graduated cum laude from Clifton J. Ozen High School in May of 2000. After graduation she attended Prairie View A&M University from 2000-2004. She played volleyball all four years on a full athletic scholarship and graduated with her BBA in Management Information Systems. Coach Douglas is the Freshmen A volleyball coach.

 

 

 

 

Jennifer Sheek - Freshmen B

Jennifer Sheek is a 2000 graduate of Deer Park High School where she was a member of the volleyball, basketball and tennis teams. She attended San Jacinto College on a tennis scholarship, receiving her Associates degree. She worked as the Sports Editor for the Deer Park Broadcaster and Progress newspapers while attending the University of Houston-Clear Lake, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Humanities.
