The sponsors are happy to have you in Volundeers. If you have any questions or problems, please talk to a sponsor.
Just a few reminders:
- You can sign up to volunteer in almost any Deer Park elementary or jr. high. Sign up date was Sept. 19, 2007.
- If the school you choose is not within walking distance from the North Campus, you may ride a bus to that school. You can walk to DPJH and San Jacinto Elementary.
- See the bulletin board in the cafeteria for bus assignments.
- You must wear your North Campus ID and show your Volundeer ID to ride the bus, and to volunteer at the schools.
- You will have to provide your own transportation home from the school.
- You may sign up for many opportunities in Deer Park City sponsored activities. Initial sign ups will be September 19 before school in the cafeteria. Sign-up sheets will then be posted on the bulletin board.
- Be sure to use our recycling bin on the corner of 8th Street and Ivy St. The Volundeers get the money for this bin.
- Be sure to check the bulletin board often for notices and sign up opportunities.
- If you sign up, please
show up. If you can’t make it, please cancel with the contact
person.
