DPEF 2024 Bookmark Contest

The Deer Park Education Foundation (DPEF) is hosting a Bookmark Contest for area students to be used by the Book Bus Project. The contest is open to all students in the area. Students are invited to design a bookmark in the entry form space provided on the form with the nature theme of: Learning and Growing through Reading. Entry forms must be turned in by Monday, March 25, 2024 to a DPISD campus library, Deer Park Public Library or Deer Park Education Support Center Building at 2800 Texas Ave, Deer Park, TX 77536. Entries will be divided into the following age groups for judging: (4-6) (7-9) (10-12) (13-15) (16-20). Winners will be notified by April 19, 2024 and will be invited to receive their awards at the Strides For Schools Fun Run event on April 27, 2024. !st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be printed and distributed through the DP Book Bus and libraries. DPEF is Accepting Teacher Grant Applications until March 25th for the 2024-25 School Year!

DPEF annually funds Teacher Enrichment Grants (up to $2,500) and District-wide grants (up to $20,000) to employees of DPISD. Each year, grants are awarded for: teaching materials, technology, guest speakers, field trips and other innovative ideas. The grant may be for an individual classroom, a grade level or for the entire school campus. Applications must be submitted by Monday, March 25, 2024. Click HERE to access the application form.
