As you know, our cat Mira passed away about three weeks ago, so my wife went on a kitty hunt. During her search, she found two fantastic cats that are about one year old. We picked them up on Easter Sunday. During their first week in our house, they have hidden under the sofa, TV cabinet, and bed. They are starting to get used to us and our apartment. We have named them Dutchess Daisy and Princess Minnie. They like to chase each other. When they catch each other, they pounce. They are so full of energy. I like to watch them run around, they make me laugh

Hello,
I am a mealworm and this is my life. I started out as a white, bean shaped egg about one millimeter long. That’s about the width of one of your eyelashes. It took me about one week to hatch. After I hatched, I was starving. (Hatching is hard work.) So I began to eat and grow. I eat grains, bran, and cereals. I ate so much that I no longer fit in my skin, so I shed it. I shed my skin several more times before I was ready to turn into a pupa. This stage lasts between one to three weeks. When I break out of my pupa, I will be an adult. I will live a few months, during this time, if I am a female I will lay up to 500 eggs. Here are some pictures of this life cycle called metamorphosis.
I was happy and carefree in my larva stage until this giant hand plucked me from my environment and placed me in a cold plastic tub with no food or friends to party with.
Here I am almost ready to become a pupa.
Here I am in the pupa stage.
I finally made it, I wish this pupa shell would let go of my leg. I will be seeing you.
Yours truly,
Lucy

In the book Riddle-iculous Math the author Joan Holub writes some pretty funny riddles. These are three of the questions (riddles) she asks. Make up your own answers and check the book out from the library to find the answers she wrote.
- Where do math teachers eat?
- What is a math teacher’s favorite season?
- What is a math teacher’s favorite dessert?

Hi,
I’ve been teaching for 6 years, and enjoy every minute of it. I believe that learning should be fun. I graduated from the University of Houston at Clear Lake in 2002, and I am certified to teach Pre-K through Sixth Grade. I’ve been married for 18 years to my lovely wife Julie. We have two cats named Dutchess Daisy, and Princess Minnie, and a hamster named Chocolate Chip. We enjoy traveling, and our favorite place to visit is DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida. This is a picture of Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom. Here is a picture of Julie and me just hanging out with Goofy. Thank you for visiting my page!
