Mrs. Parrish’s Kindergarten Class

2.  Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.

We will be having our Parkwood Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 14th in our school cafeteria during our lunch time (12:30-1:00).  Please join us in celebrating our feast.  Happy Eating!

We will be going on our field trip to Manna’s Farm on Friday, November 16th.  Permission slips have been sent home.  Please sign your child’s permission slip and send the $3.00.  We are excited about all the activities your child is going to get to do.  We will be going on a hay ride, corn maze, petting zoo, and many more activities.  We will be having a picnic lunch, so PLEASE pack your child a SACK lunch.  We request that you also pack them a bottle of water as well as a drink for their lunch.  Please watch the weather and dress your child accordingly. 

I am excited to announce that your child will be allowed to wear their Halloween Costume to school on Wednesday, October 31st.   We request that your child wear their clothes under their costume so that they may change when we go out to recess (we don’t want to tear any costumes).  We will also be doing a Kindergarten Costume Parade around the school to “show-off” our costumes to the other grade levels.  If you would like to see the parade it should start at 8:15 ish in the morning.  We will also be doing various holiday activities through-out the day.  Your child will be rotating through different teachers classrooms for our “Celebration Stations.”
