Deen’s Peek At Our Week

We were so lucky to have Mr. Koctar come and speak to us about fire safety. He brought his equipment to pass around.  We were even lucky enough to get to put on pieces to his uniform.  This is a good time for you to discuss a fire safety plan for your family.  Be sure to ask your child about his tips. 

We will be sending the new high frequency words

in the report card.  Please add it to your child’s word ring.

Your child must review these nightly to promote further success.

Be sure to review the high frequency words we passed out at our conferences.  I am including the list of our new ones for this nine weeks.  We will be passing them out with the next report card.  It never hurts to get a jump start.  These are crucial to supporting your child in reading.

 We had so much fun on our field trip.  We went to the farm.  They got to go on a hay ride.  We went through a corn maze.  They rode a tractor train.  I have included a couple of pictures.  We had beautiful weather and the whole farm to just our school.   We had fun on the tractor train ride.  We also had a student get dressed up as a milking  cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
