Hope everyone had a wonderful, restful Spring Break.  I visited several Texas cities and even was in a MUD rainstorm!! Don’t forget you have Monday off. Come to school on Tuesday ready to learn. Wednesday is the Reading Benchmark. Friday is Champ Camp for all those who qualified on the last Math benchmark.

Tuesday, March 11- choir program at 1:30

Thursday March 13- Math Benchmark- it is the last becnhmark before the TAKS test on April 29. Do your best and you may get to attend Champ camp!!!

Friday, March 14-Biscuit tastin’ in 4th grade!  Book orders due.

Remember NEXT WEEK IS SPRING BREAK!!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I hope to.

1/12 of the year is over

One month is already gone from 2008. That is 1/12 of the year if you are learning about fractions! Look for fractions in your everyday world and share with us. Keep practicing those multiplication facts- they will help you with division.

Don’t forget to decorate a box for Valentine’s! See me if you need an empty box. We will be exchanging Valentines on February 14th. Pencilgrams are on sale next week before school in the cafeteria.

Book orders are due Monday!!

Almost Christmas!

Only 7and 1/2 days of school until Christmas break. This semester has gone by so fast. This week we will be working on multiplication and division word problems  in Math and ecosystems in Science. Don’t forget that we get to wear our pajamas to school on Tuesday, December 18th for Polar Express Day.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday week. Now it is back to work.  We are going to be very busy in the 3 1/2 weeks until Christmas holidays.

Friday, November 30th is our Field trip.  Remember Permission slips and $7.50 are due by Wednesday.  Don’t forget your lunch and drink.

This week we will be learning how to multiply 2 digit numbers. We will also be practicing for the Veteran’s Day program that will be at 8:30 on Friday, November 9th.  Hope you have been practicing the”Nifty Fifty”!  I’m excited about another week of learning-hope you are too!!!
