Instructional Technology
  • enhance the district wide-area network for student and staff access
  • purchase wireless technological equipment for classrooms
  • purchase calculators and electronic science equipment
  • expand video capability in classrooms
  • purchase technology for special needs students
  • upgrade student data systems
Libraries/Furniture
  • upgrade outdated library computer systems and library data resources
  • purchase library books for all schools and furniture for student and staff use
  • replace boken, aged furniture
Fine Arts
  • sound and lighting systems upgrades at Gaines Mason Auditorium and in gyms and stages at Dabbs Elementary, Fairmont Elementary, Deepwater Junior High, and South Campus
  • Fine Arts equipment will be purchased for band, choir, orchestra, and theatre (K-12)
Physical Education/Athletics
  • resurface tracks at Deepwater Junior High and Bonnette Junior High
  • resurface tennis courts at South Campus
  • upgrade Jim Kethan Baseball Field drainage
  • gyms will receive new scoreboards and backboards as needed
