I am very excited about being selected as a member of the Deer Park Elementary team!  I believe a positive elementary school experience is very important. I look forward to working with your child/children through classroom guidance, small groups and individual counseling to help them develop their academic, career, personal, and social abilities.

Having been a counselor at the elementary, intermediate and high school levels, I believe I have a unique understanding of the importance of strengthening and building assets in children to prepare them for their future! Classroom guidance lessons will focus on the following asset building categories: support, empowerment, boundaries and expectations, constructive use of time, commitment to learning, positive values, social competencies, and positive identity.
