FRESHMAN PARENTS NEEDED TO VOLUNTEER AT SPRING GAME

We are in desperate need of current freshman parents to volunteer to help during the 7 pm spring game. All current volunteers have upperclassmen that will be playing at that time. Freshman will play at 5 pm which will free up freshman parents to volunteer during the later game. As every year, we lack in underclass parents that volunteer. It makes it really difficult on upper class parents to try and juggle watching their child and volunteering...and eventually, every freshman parent will have the same predicament. So PLEASE come volunteer so that upper class parents can leave concessions, feeding the players and Deer Gear to see their student athlete play during the 7 pm game. Day of Champions

 

Please mark your DP football player's calendar for Deer Park Football's Day of Champions on May 31st at 9:30 am on the practice fields. The football team will divide into teams and compete in several different events during this team building exercise. Lunch will be served and a motivational speaker will speak to the boys. The event is estimated to last until around 2:30.

 

Mom's Tea a Big Success

 

Thanks to all who made our first annual Mother’s Football 101 Tea a great success!

We would like to thank all of you who were able to attend the Football Booster Club’s Mother’s Tea. We had a great turn out and think everyone who attended was impressed with all the planning that went into the event!

We have heard rave reviews from many Moms on the food, the door prizes, the fashion show. and how welcomed everyone felt. The greatest compliments
have been on the “behind the scenes” tours of the locker room, weight room, video room, coaches offices and training room. Our sons spend a lot of time in all of those areas and now we all have a visual on what they look like!

We would like to thank the booster club, coaches, and cheerleaders for making this event the big success that is was. If you had to miss it this year, ladies mark it on your calendar for next year!

 

Deer Park Football Lettermen’s Association

The Deer Park Football program along with the Deer Park Football Booster Club are forming a new group for Deer Park Football Lettermen called the Lettermen's Association. We would like to invite you to join the ranks of your fellow Deer players in this new group. Our goals are to keep our alumni informed and involved with the program they helped to build, to support the current football team and to keep the Pride, Family and Tradition of Deer Park Football alive.

We plan to have special events for club members as well as other opportunities for you to interact and enjoy the current Deer Park Football program. You can sign up to receive periodical updates by email on the team. The Deer Park Lettermen's Association also has the goal of working to keep our teammates and fellow Letterman informed of the current team's progress, help in locating old teammates and friends and helping to foster the values of Deer Park High School.

2008 Program Ad Sales Have Begun

 

Time to support the Deer Park High School football program through advertisement in the 2008 Deer Park Deer football program. Your ad message will be repeated throughout the football season in the 2008 Deer Park Deer football program.

 

We invite you to join us this season as we take care of “Unfinished Business” and support the football program. Please join us in supporting the spirit and pride of the Deer Park community.

 

Ad space for the 2008 Football Program cannot be purchased after July 1, 2008.

Please complete the ad form along with your ad copy, artwork and photographs and mail to the address on the bottom of the form.
