Coaching Staff

Coach SiebertMary Siebert - Head Coach

Coach Mary Siebert is a native of Hutchinson, KS. She played summer softball for 12 years and played collegiately at Pittsburg State University. In 1980 she moved to the Houston area and began working at Alvin High School. She was varsity head coach at Alvin for 4 years prior to moving to Deer Park. For 12 years before retiring from coaching duties. She returned to coaching as the varsity assistant for 5 years. As of the 2004-05 year, she returns as the varsity head coach.

 

Coach CromeensSuzy Cromeens - Assistant Coach

Coach Cromeens graduated from Deer Park where she made varsity as a freshman.  Her father taught her to play many positions so she would not be one-dimensional.  Freshman year she played centerfield, catcher her sophomore year and third base her junior year.  Senior year she played everywhere and was named All-state and played in the All-Star game at Arlington.   She was MVP during her high school career. After graduation, she played one year at Sam Houston.  She graduated in 2001 from UHCL and began to teach and coach at Bonnette Jr. High School for two years.  She has also worked and coached at Miller Junior High and is currently working at Deepwater Junior as a math teacher and basketball coach.  Coach Cromeens coaches softball in the evenings.  She is married and has a son, Diego Coy Cromeens.  Her family is her first priority.

Coach LoweKirk Lowe - Assistant Coach

Coach Kirk Lowe graduated from Baytown Lee High School in 1988. He went to Baylor University and graduated in 1992. He started coaching at DP Junior High in 1994, and came to DPHS-NC in 1998 where he coached football and basketball. Coach Lowe moved to DPHS-SC in 2000 and continued to coach varsity football and freshman basketball until 2004 - when he began coaching softball. Coach Lowe is currently the head Freshman boys basketball coach and JV Maroon softball coach. He has been married 12 years to wife Traci. They have two children, son Justin who is 7, and daughter Lauren, who is 4.

Coach RangelAnthony Rangel - Assistant Coach

Coach Anthony Rangel is a native of Bettendorf, IA. Coach Rangel graduated from Iowa State University in december of 1997 and moved to Houston. He began his teaching and coaching career in Aldine I.S.D where he spent the last 7 years coaching football and softball. He has been married 6 years to wife Christy. They have one child Jackson who is 3.
