RESEARCHING REAL-WORLD DATA

In this portion of the unit, you will be researching cyclic real data on the Internet.  You must choose two sets of data to record, graph, and present.

Below are several sites that you may use.  Or you may choose your own site as long as it meets the criteria.

Galveston tides

http://www.zephyrs.com/galv.htm

Houston temperatures

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/hgx/climate/iah/extremes/augustiah-top10.htm

Moon cycles

http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/MoonPhase.php

1.  Record the data into an Excel table and graph.

2.  Be prepared to present and discuss your data with the entire class.

Go back to Circular Trigonometry.
