"Hello boys and girls" is the greeting each child hears every day as
he or she enters the music classroom.

Our philosophy for general music classes is to teach an appreciation for
all forms of music expression in an enjoyable and informative manner.
All students at SJE attend music classes every day for thirty minutes of
instruction. Included in music instruction is an introduction to singing skills
and choral techniques, music and rhythm reading, music literature, the
study of composers and simple instrumental performance.

We hope each child leaves San Jacinto Elementary
with the gift of music appreciation.
