Congratulations to the Lady Deer for winning the Bi-District round of the State Playoffs against Baytown Lee. The Lady Deer will advance to the Area Round of the playoffs and play Clear Creek on Friday, Nov. 2, at Dobie High School. The game begins at 6:30 p.m., and the ticket price is $4 for everyone.

Some members of the Deer Park Volleyball program took part in a community service project known as the Great Pumpkin Patch Unloading Day on Sunday, October 7. The girls had a fun time unloading an 18-wheeler's worth of pumpkins at Deer Park Methodist Church. What a work out it was for them as well; good thing we have been doing our push-ups and squats!
The varsity defeated South Houston last week in three games and remain undefeated in district play.
