Hi! Welcome to my site! What? You would like to know more about me? Great!
I was born in Erie, Pennsylvainia. I moved to Texas at the start of my freshman year in high school. I graduated from Barbers Hill High School where I lettered in the "killer b's", baseball, basketball, and band. I was all-district in baseball, captain of the band, and Honor Society treasyurer. What happened in basketball? I don't know, but it is hard to score from the bench. I could have been great, except for the fact that our other point guard was better than me. Well, he was.
After high school I attended college at Lamar University, Slippery Rock University, and Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. I played one season of college baseball at Edinboro. I graduated from Edinboro with a degree in Secondary Mathematics in 1986.
I taught junior high and high school mathematics for about 20 years at a few different schools. This is my second year to teach teen leadership, art, and physical education at DPHS - North.
My wonderful wife's name is Lori. That's right, Lori Laurie. (Really, really.) And yes they are pronounced exactly the same. I have two great kids, Kaitlyn and Kevin.
