Update on power at DWJH; In-person instruction resumes tomorrow, Nov.18

Power was restored to Deepwater Junior High at 10 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Face-to-face instruction will resume Wednesday, Nov. 18, for students who have selected in-person learning.  Students should report to the campus by 8 a.m. for the start of the school day.

Students who previously chose remote learning will continue using Canvas to access lessons and assignments.

The following message is being sent to Deepwater Junior High parents and employees today using the District’s Skylert communication system.

THIS IS  MESSAGE FROM DEER PARK ISD:

The District’s contractor states that power at Deepwater Junior High will be restored later tonight. Face-to-face instruction will resume tomorrow, Nov. 18, for students who have selected in-person learning.  Students should report to the campus by 8 a.m. for the start of the school day.

Students who previously chose remote learning will continue using Canvas to access lessons and assignments.

If power is not restored tonight, we will contact parents again no later than 6 a.m. tomorrow. Otherwise, school will take place tomorrow according to the regular schedule.
