District offers free student meals through federal Summer Food Service Program

Beginning tomorrow, June 8, Deer Park Independent School District will offer free meals at Deepwater Elementary, Carpenter Elementary, and Deer Park High School-North Campus.  This service, which is part of our Summer Food Service Program, is open to all children ages 18 and younger and to DPISD-enrolled students with disabilities who are up to 21 years old.

No enrollment or registration is required to participate in this federally-funded program. Adults are also encouraged to participate. The cost for an adult breakfast is $2.60, and a lunch is $4.00.

The program is available according to the following schedule: 

Deepwater Elementary

June 8-July 29 (Monday-Thursday)

Carpenter Elementary

**Curbside Breakfast & Lunch Pick-up is for children not attending summer school. Please only go to one location to pick up meals. Children must be in the vehicle to receive meals.
