2022 DPISD election results: Bond election passes, Kirkpatrick and Donnell re-elected

Voters approved the District's 2022 Bond Election and returned two longtime Trustees to the School Board.

Bond Proposition A was approved by a vote of 1011-525, and Proposition B was approved by a vote of 980-547.

"This support from our parents and community means we can continue to provide the outstanding level of programs and services our students deserve," Superintendent Stephen Harrell said. "I'm particularly excited about the expansion of our career and technical program. The future looks bright for DPISD!"

In the District's Board of Trustees election, trustees Kirkpatrick and Donnell won re-election. Kirkpatrick was unopposed in his bid to continue serving in Position 4. Donnell received 1156 votes and challenger Candace Igberaese received 238 votes.

Today's unofficial results include Election Day, early voting, and mail-in ballots received to date. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by today, May 7.
