Meet Mrs. Turkasz

Hello!  My name is Sara Turkasz, and I am so excited to have you in my 3rd Grade class this year! It is going to be a fun year full of new friends and lots of learning. I can’t wait to see what new adventures this year brings us. I am so excited to learn all about you, but first let me tell you some things about me.​

     I was raised in White Bear Lake, Minnesota . I graduated in 2009 from White Bear Lake Area High School, South Campus. I attended the University of Wisconsin- River Falls where I received my degree in Elementary Education. My Husband, Neal is from New York.  In my spare time, whenever I am not at school, I love to go running, spend time outdoors, and spend time with my friends. ​

     This will be my fourth year at Fairmont Elementary School and my seventh year teaching 3rd grade!  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my love of learning with you this year! I am very excited about our upcoming year, and I can’t wait to begin our year together!
