Hundreds of Deer Park High School students were recently recognized as part of the 65th Annual Industrial Honor Awards. The Honor Awards recognition was created by a group of industry representatives who wanted to honor students for their grades. This year’s event was sponsored by the following industry partners:

To earn an Honor Award, a student must have an overall grade-point average of 3.7 or higher for the first semester of the current school year. Almost 800 students qualified for an award this year.

As part of the Honor Awards assembly, representatives of the sponsoring industries presented the top student award to the student with the highest GPA in each grade level. They are:
