The district assigned, 6-digit student ID number will be his or her "pin" number for their account. Students will log this number into a pin pad that will be placed on the serving line. The cashier will record the student’s purchase, which will then be debited from the account. Payments are accepted via cash at the register or through MySchoolBucks.
MySchoolbucks provides parents with an avenue to deposit funds into their child’s meal account online and to view their account balance. You will be able to print a copy of your child’s meal account history that will show all dates and times of purchases made within the past thirty days. Funds that are left over from the previous year are transferred with your child to his/her new grade and/or campus. To access these services, simply go to www.myschoolbucks.com and click Log In. From this site you will create your account and add money to your child's school meal account. All you need is your child's name, student ID number and school ZIP code. Things to know:
- In order to use the online prepayment service, a small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the convenience fee once per deposit transaction. The Deer Park Independent School District will not profit from the use of this site.
- If you have any problems accessing the MySchoolBucks.com website or making payments, please call 1-855-832-5226.
Please be aware that funds may not be available at the campus until the next business day.

Meal Charge Policy- Students are allowed to charge meals for up to three days, which is equivalent to the value of three lunches. After this 3-day grace period, students will receive a courtesy meal at a reduced charge of $0.75 for breakfast and $1.50 for lunch. The breakfast courtesy meal includes two pieces of toast and milk, while the lunch courtesy meal consists of a hamburger, one fruit or vegetable, and milk. Once any outstanding meal charges are paid in full, students may resume charging meals according to the policy. A la carte items may not be charged at any time. When a student’s meal account has a negative balance, the DPISD Child Nutrition Office notifies parents weekly by email, and the student’s school either calls the parent or sends a written notice home.
Special Diets/Allergies- Students with food allergies or intolerances must have a completed Diet Modification form on file to receive any meal modifications. The form must include what foods/drinks are to be excluded and what should be substituted. This form is located on the Deer Park ISD website-> Departments -> Child Nutrition-> Special Diets. The form must be completed and signed by a state licensed medical authority prescribing the diet modification.
