Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Registration Online New Student Enrollment

 

Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Early Registration is here!

Deer Park ISD is using the Online New Student Enrollment for the spring Pre-K Registration.

This online registration process will be available from March 7th through April 17th.

The Online New Student Enrollment is designed to be completed at home.

***Besides the Online New Student Enrollment, Pre-K Registration also requires qualification into the Pre-K program. DPISD staff will contact all parents to schedule appointments for this Qualification Process along with presenting various Enrollment Forms.

***A good phone number and/or email address is vital for communication.

Criteria to QUALIFY for FREE FULL-day PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Child MUST be 4 years old on or before Sept 1, 2024
  1. unable to speak and comprehend the English language;
  2. is educationally disadvantaged (which means a student who is eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program);
  3. is living in emergency shelter or transitional housing
  4. is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States;
  5. is the child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while on active duty;
  6. is or ever has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (foster care) following an adversary hearing held as provided by Section 262.201, Family Code; or
  7. is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as:
    • a peace officer under Section 3106.002, Government Code;
    • a firefighter under Section 3106.003, Government Code; or
    • an emergency medical first responder under Section 3106.004, Government Code.

Required ENROLLMENT Documents needed in order to complete your child's registration:

  1. Proof of Residency - at least one of the following:
    • Mortgage statement showing name and address of owner,
    • current tax statement,
    • current lease agreement with one utility bill with same address
  2. Official Birth Certificate -- the birth certificate issued by the state, not the hospital copy
  3. Current Immunization Record
  4. Current Parent ID
    eg: Texas Driver License
  5. Proof of Income or Snap

This online registration process will be available from March 7th through April 17th.

Before you begin, ---- Does your new Pre-Kindergartener have a sibling who is already enrolled in Deer Park ISD?

--- If NO, then your Online New Student Enrollment process will begin with an Account Request. You will begin here by clicking the following link: Pre-K Registration Online New Student Enrollment

--- If YES, then you already have a Family Access account. You will instead log in to your Family Access account. In your Family Access account click on the “Online New Student Enrollment” button to start the enrollment process.
**This brings you directly to the “New Student Enrollment: Application Form” where you will begin entering your new Pre-K student information. (see page 3 of the attached directions)
