All about Mrs. Barta
Hello,
My name is Treasa Barta. I am a special education teacher here at Deepwater Elementary. This is my 16th year teaching, and my 2nd at Deepwater Elementary. I am originally from Freeport, just 45 miles south, and have spent my life living at or near the beach. I am married and have 5 children and a granddaughter.
Throughout my career, I have taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grade. I became a special education teacher 5 years ago. I love being able to work closely with students and targeting their needs in order for them to be the best they can be. I find the greatest reward in seeing progress no matter how small it may seem to others.
If you need me, feel free to reach out. I am always happy to discuss any concerns or celebrations pertaining to your child.
