Deer Park High School Orchestra
The Deer Park High School Orchestra is known for having some of the best and brightest students in Deer Park. We are the Official Orchestra of the Battleship Texas and regularly perform for Texian Navy Day and at the San Jacinto Day Reenactment held on the site of this historical revolutionary battle. The orchestra also performs in nursing homes, municipal buildings and in many other community performances throughout the year. Our musicians consistently receives high ratings at UIL contest and in other festivals and competitions both collectively and individually. Everyone is welcome at our concerts!

October Orchestra updates
North Campus: If your student missed uniform checkout and has not been fitted for a uniform, they must do so no later than tomorrow. We need to order any missing sizes with time to arrive before the concert.
South Campus: If your uniform is still in the orchestra room, TAKE IT HOME.
Please check Charms for your balance. All money is well past due. You must pay by this Wednesday, 10/4 in order to avoid being placed on the fines and fees list. Reminder: The password is the password the student made up during the computer lab assignment.

Attire: Orchestra Uniform
Students in Camerata (6th and 7th) and Philharmonic (1st and 4th) will have a rehearsal after school. This is our ONLY combined rehearsal, so they NEED to be there. Talk to your coaches and bosses ahead of time and inform them about this. Failure to attend=failure in the gradebook. All rehearsals are on the PAC stage.

First Fundraiser: More details to come in class after the concert
South Campus will kick off during class
North Campus will kick off right after school in the North Campus orchestra room, 4-5 PM
(students will be able to take the late bus home after this event)
All money raised during the fundraiser can be applied to orchestra fees, including trips, polo shirts and instrument rentals. Any money in the student's account will be available to them as long as they are in orchestra.
Spring Trip to Dallas
Return the contract and $150 deposit by 11/10/17 to secure a place on the trip.
