Deer Park ISD is asking voters to consider a $158 million bond election. If the election passes, the district will sell bonds and use the funds to pay for a number of projects and purchases over the next five years. Bond funds cannot be used for recurring expenses like salaries, utilities, or insurance. They can only be used for large purchases and projects such as the ones listed on this website.
