2017-18 Student iPad 1:1 Information

Empower

Parents,
In order for an FJH student to receive a district iPad, each student must have a signed iPad Oath on file and pay the $50 iPad insurance fee either in full or in $10 monthly installments.  This insurance covers the iPad in the event of accidental damage, so please have the student notify Mrs. Corry of any issues. DO NOT TAKE IPADS TO THE APPLE STORE OR A 3RD PARTY FOR REPAIR.  If the iPad isn't damaged in sixth grade, the insurance remains in effect for 7th grade (and 8th grade, if it remains undamaged) without additional payment required. The charger cord and brick are not covered, so lost cords and bricks will cost $17.50 each. If you have problems with your charger cord or brick, please see Mrs. Corry. Do not throw away bad cords or bricks.

Please refer to the Empower Manual for more detailed information.
Please refer to the iPad Incidents infographic for information about damaged, lost or stolen iPads.
