CONCUSSION CONSULTATIONS
9am by Appointment Only - Call (832) 668-7245

  • Concussion consultations are for all 7th-12th grade student athletes who have sustained or suspected to have sustained a concussion while participating in athletics.  We recommend you contact the Athletic Trainers at (832) 668-7245 to schedule your consultation.  If you went to the emergency room or urgent care, or seen by another athletic trainer while at a travel game, please bring the paperwork they gave to you to this consultation visit with the Deer Park Athletic Trainers.

The Athletic Training Room is located at Deer Park High School South Campus on the East end near the tennis courts and bus circle drive.

We encourage athletes to come in for morning treatment if they were injured the prior day or have any issue that may limit their athletic participation.  If you went to the emergency room or your physician, we request that you bring documentation of your child's injury and the plan of care from the hospital, emergency room, or treating physician.

For non-emergency injuries, we recommend that your child come in for an evaluation by the Athletic Trainers prior to going to see a physician or specialist.  We can evaluate your child and help guide you through the process to best streamline care.  We encourage the parent to be an active member of the Sports Medicine Team treating your child.
