Deer Park ISD’s successful Limited Open Enrollment (LOE) program will once again allow non-resident students from neighboring areas to apply for enrollment in the District.
LOE applications will be accepted beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, through June 16 using an online submission process.
- The online link will go live at 4 p.m. on March 8. Applications will not be accepted before this time.
- Each application will be date- and time-stamped upon submission.
Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis to fill a limited number of available spaces. Limited space is available at all schools except Early Childhood Center, Carpenter Elementary, Deer Park Junior High, and Deer Park High School-Wolters Campus.
Applications will be evaluated by a small panel of District administrators. Students who are approved will be eligible to attend DPISD schools for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. Parents will receive mail notification of whether or not their child’s application has been approved starting the week of May 15 and thereafter.
- Students who are accepted and enrolled through this program will be allowed to complete their public education in Deer Park ISD; however, students are expected to strictly abide by the District’s policies and rules. Any violation could result in the revocation of a student’s enrollment.
- Parents of students who enroll through the LOE program are also responsible for transporting their children to and from school. Transportation will not be provided.
