DPISD Safety Committee

District Safety Meetings will be held at least three times annually: Fall, Spring and Summer.

2025 - 2026 Safety Committee Meetings:

October 8, 2025          February 18, 2026          June 8, 2026

Purpose of the Committee:

Texas Education Code Chapter 37.109 requires all School Districts to establish a safety committee. Senate Bill 11 amended responsibilities and members.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement the Multi-hazard Emergency Operations Plan. Provide guidance and support to all DPISD Safety Initiatives.
