Hello,

My name is Robert Martinez, and this is my 7th year in education and my 4th consecutive year working in Special Education. I come from a big family — I have seven siblings — and I bring that same sense of connection and support into my classroom.

My passion is teaching young minds to believe in themselves. Sometimes we don’t realize our potential until someone helps us see it. When I was in 2nd grade, my teacher, Mrs. Melia, clapped for me during class. That simple act made me feel so important that I still remember it 24 years later — and it remains one of the reasons I chose to become a teacher.

I am excited for the opportunity to teach your children this year. I promise to bring energy, encouragement, and a belief in their abilities every single day. It’s going to be a great year!
