Strides 2022 start/finish line

Registration is now open for the 2023 Strides For Schools Fun Run at www.stridesforschools.com

April 29, 2023  5K  8:15AM   Start/Finish Line is in parking lot of Clyde Abshier Stadium      (710 W. San Augustine, Deer Park, TX 77536)

Students: $20 |  Adults (20+): $30 | Adults Shirt Only: $25

All proceeds from event help to fund the Teacher Enrichment Grant Program benefiting the DPISD teachers and students / DPEF is a 501(c)3 organization

DPEF 2023 Bookmark Contest
 

The Deer Park Education Foundation (DPEF) is hosting a Bookmark Contest for area students to be used by the Book Bus Project. The contest is open to all students in the area. Students are invited to design a bookmark in the entry form space provided with the Super hero theme of: Reading is Super Fun. Entry forms must be turned in by March 31, 2023 to a DPISD campus library, Deer Park Public Library or ESC Building at 2800 Texas Ave, Deer Park by Friday, March 31, 2023. 

Entries will be divided into the following age groups for judging: (4-6) (7-9) (10-12) (13-15) (16-20). Winners will be notified by April 14, 2023 and will be invited to receive their awards at the Strides For Schools Fun Run event on April 29, 2023.  Click here to download the entry form:  Form (English) or Form (Spanish)

Now Accepting Teacher Grant Application for the 2023-24 School Year
 
 
The Deer Park Education Foundation annually funds Enrichment Grants (up to $2500) and District-wide Grants (up to $20,000) to employees of the Deer Park Independent School District. CONGRATULATIONS to the 2022-23 DPEF Teacher Grant Recipients!

The DPEF is proud to partner with DPISD to fund innovative and creative Teacher Enrichment Grants. We wish to thank all the volunteers, community leaders and businesses that have supported the DPEF and have helped to contribute over $2.8 million dollars to support programs that enhance the educational experience. The DPEF awarded 125 grants for a total donation of $287,555 for the 2022-23 school year.
 
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax exempt organization founded in 1991 to help Deer Park ISD meet needs above and beyond the district’s budget.
