A car parade was held to celebrate Deer Park ISD’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Valedictorian Elijah Joy and Salutatorian Joah George each had a large crowd of supporters to congratulate them on their accomplishments. Superintendent of Schools Victor White awarded them with a certificate and other items. We will see more of them at our virtual graduation at 7 p.m. on May 28 and at our traditional graduation at 8 p.m. on July 23 at Clyde Abshier Stadium.
