DPISD 2022-2023 New Student Registration

New Student Registration is around the corner….Tuesday, August 2nd!

New Student Registration is a district-wide event for all new students.

***All grades Pre-K through 12th grade***

***Note: Pre-K registration requires qualification into the Pre-K program. Contact our Early Childhood Center staff with any Pre-K questions (832-668-8390).

This registration is for new students who did NOT end the 2021-22 school year in Deer Park ISD. If your child ended the school year in a different school district – then you are a “New Student”.

**If your child ended the school year in a DPISD school this past May, he/she is considered a returning student and will need to participate in their school’s August Campus Registration activities.

Students who are NEW to Deer Park ISD must enroll and register in person on Tuesday, August 2nd at the district’s New Student Registration.

This New Student Registration will be held at Deer Park High School – South Campus between the hours of 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Who is allowed to enroll my child?
***The Parent or Legal Guardian (legal guardian must have appropriate documents) .

What is needed for New Student Registration?
Bring along the following:
**You must have all documents in order to complete registration:

  1. Proof of Residency - at least one of the following: o mortgage statement showing name and address of owner; o current tax statement (HCAD); or o current lease agreement with one utility bill with same address
  2. Official Birth Certificate ---the birth certificate issued by the state, not the hospital copy
  3. Current Immunization Record
  4. Child’s Social Security Card (recommended)
  5. Report Card from previous school OR Transcript for Grades 9-12 (preferred)
  6. Current Parent ID eg: Texas Driver License
  7. Parents enrolling a student that receives Special Education Services, will need to bring the most current ARD Document, and if available, the most current Full and Individual Evaluation. (Click here for the Flyer)
**After August 2nd, the next Registration Day for new students will be the first day of school: Wednesday, August 17
