Curriculum Framework Statement

The curriculum in Deer Park ISD is designed to provide clear guidance for instruction and pacing throughout the school year. All documents are aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the state standards approved by the State Board of Education for all Texas public schools. The curriculum is evaluated and revised annually, as needed.

To support high-quality instruction in early literacy and mathematics, Deer Park ISD implements adopted instructional resources including Reading Horizons and Bluebonnet Math.

This site contains pacing calendars for each grade level and subject area. If a pacing calendar for a secondary course is not listed here, it is available in the course syllabus, which can be accessed through the teacher’s campus website.
