Department Overview

Deer Park ISD's Communications Department promotes two-way communications between the District and parents, students, employees, local business and industrial neighbors and members of the community. Our team manages District-level social media accounts, shares stories about the accomplishments of our students and employees, and creates publications for the community and for our employees, the annual district calendar, monthly event calendars, and much more. We also coordinate the District's successful Volunteer Program, work with the news media, and distribute general information about the District to those who request it.
