Is my information confidential?
 
DPISD is a public entity. Your application is considered a public document and is subject to disclosure, upon request, whether you apply with a paper document or through the on-line process. Our applicant files are available to principals/supervisors when they have open positions.
 
Which positions use the on-line application?
 
The on-line application is used for all open positions.
 
What documents should I send in?
 
All required documents, including transcripts, must be submitted electronically before you will be considered for an interview.
 
If my certification area is not listed or if my college major is not listed, what should I do?
 
If you do not find the right information to select for your certification choose “Other”. Remember, if it is not a required field you may leave the field blank and you will be able to give this information to us when you come in for your interview.
 
Do I have to provide past experience?
 
If you have prior experience, it should be included under work history. This helps the hiring manager learn more about your skills and experience.
 
If I am an experienced teacher, do I have to list my student teaching experience?
 
If you have taught for five full years, you do not have to enter your student teaching experience.
 
If I have applied to DPISD before do I need to submit a new application?
 
Yes, you must re-apply for every job posting you are interested in.  Current employees will access and apply for job postings via Classlink > UKG.
 
If I created a new account, how will I establish my account profile password?
 
You will receive an email notification to the personal email verifying your newly created account. This will confirm your username and provide a link to create your account password.  Please note that this link will expire within 24 hours after receiving the email.
