2024-25 Open Enrollment
Our 2024-25 open enrollment will begin Thursday, July 17th and end Friday, August 16th.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to changing several plans, 24-25 open enrollment is MANDATORY therefore you MUST complete your enrollment, even if you are declining or do not plan to make changes. If you fail to complete your enrollment, you risk dropping your current coverage.
24-25 Major Plan Changes:
- Critical Illness – Change to Aetna.
- Hospital Indemnity – Change to Aetna. You also have the options between a pre-tax deduction or post-tax deduction.
- Accident – Change to Aetna. You also have the options between a pre-tax deduction or post-tax deduction. Make sure to enroll each dependent to ensure they are covered by the new plan!
- Long Term Disability – Change from employer paid to voluntary.
- Disability (Short/Long Term) – Change from BCBS to American Fidelity. In addition, short term and long term are now combined to one plan with 4 elimination periods (waiting period) to choose from. (7-day; 14-day; 30-day and 60-day)
Current DPISD Employee: Open Enrollment information and links will be provided to you through Frontline on July 18th. You will also receive open enrollment communication from FFGA prior to the first day of open enrollment.
New Hires: You have a special enrollment period that starts from your hire date (first day on duty) and lasts for 31 days. You will receive a New Employee – Benefits Packet during your onboarding process or soon after.
